Register your flight information & more!
All team captains have received a Google Sheet, and we kindly ask you to complete the information as soon as possible. In the same sheet you must also allocate rooms to your team members, and register for the GFL airport transfer to/from GFL Hemsedal.
Please register your teams information within December 15th, 2024!
Bus transfer to / from GFL Hemsedal
If you are flying to Oslo Airport (OSL), you will have the opportunity to travel onward to GFL Hemsedal on the GFL Bus. If you are interested, keep reading!
The bus fare will be 900 NOK (approx. 75 EUR at the time of writing), for a return trip. This includes some beer/wine and something to eat. The drive takes about 3 to 3 1/2 hours, from the airport to GFL Hemsedal. More details regarding departure times and other practical info will be forwarded in due time.
If you wish to travel by train & taxi, this is also possible (please refer to the transport tab for more information.)
Luggage options
For your convenience, we have listed a few options regarding luggage storage, in case you want to ship your luggage to Hemsedal ahead of GFL or simply want to store your luggage at the airport.
Luggage storage at Oslo Airport
At Oslo airport you may store your luggage for a fee.

Forward luggage to Hemsedal
Arrange your luggage transfer by contacting “Hemsedal Aktiv” here, and they will assist you.
Cross Country Party
The Cross Country party will be hosted outdoors at Gravset Cross Country Arena!
Due to Norwegian laws, the XC Party will have a dedicated fenced area for drinking.
Food and drink transport to the arena will be provided on the same buses as participants.

Team captains must remember to register their interest via the google sheet they have received.
Ski rental (important!)
Make sure to book your skis early to make sure you get the equipment you need. We would also like to remind you that even though you checked “yes, I would like to rent skis” during your registration earlier this year, you still need to actively reserve your skis by following the steps below.
Note:
We’ve swapped event days, with Giant Slalom now being hosted on Thursday and Snowboard on Friday.
If you have already booked your skis/boards, you don’t have to “edit” your booking.
To book your skis, please follow these steps.
- Visit skistar.com and create an account (or log in if you already have one)
- Go to ‘My Page’ and select ‘Rental.’
- Choose Hemsedal as your location.
- Select your rental dates from our “guide” below:
- For Week-long rentals:
- March 30th, 2025 (6-8 days)
- Race Day Rentals:
- XC Race: April 1, 2025, 3-hour rental.
- GS Race: April 3, 2025.
- SB Race: April 4, 2025.
- For Week-long rentals:
- Complete personal details and use campaign code GLF25 (L before F!) for a 15% discount, valid until February 28, 2025.
Once this is all completed your skis will be waiting for you in Hemsedal*.
*XC Skis will be waiting at the XC Arena.
GFL 2025 theme: CARNIVAL
In an attempt to bring some brazilian Samba to Hemsedal, we are pleased to announce that GFL 25’s theme is CARNIVAL (think RIO)! From feathered dresses to glittering masks and pulsating samba music, our theme party will surely be one for the memory books.

ATC DJ CONTEST
This year’s DJ contest will take place on Tuesday evening!
Interested DJs must let us know ASAP, as we only have six slots available, with selection by lottery if more than six apply.

Final invoice
The remaining 40% of your participation fee will be invoiced in November, with a due date of November 28th.
