We hope this message finds you well. We have some crucial updates regarding GFL 2025 that we’d like to share with you.
Location & Date change for GFL 2025
After a series of unforeseen circumstances, Gausta Resort had to withdraw its hosting of GFL 2025 due to the event’s size. However, we are thrilled to announce that the new destination for GFL 2025 is Hemsedal, Scandinavian Alps, Norway!
GFL2025 will now take place from Sunday, March 30th, to Sunday, April 6th, 2025.
Positive changes
We believe this shift brings several positive aspects, such as:
•A much larger ski system.
•Stavkroa Afterski & Nightclub, voted the worlds best afterski on numerous occasions, will add to the excitement.
•Hemsedal is closer to Oslo Gardermoen airport.
•More daylight in March and April, making it the prime time for GFL2025.
•Accommodations at the superb Fyri Resort, Scandinavia’s Mountain Resort No. 1, and apartments at Skistar Lodge.
Despite facing increased costs, we are committed to providing you with a high-value experience. While we are finalizing the details, we will share more information in January 2024. Additionally, the currently weak Norwegian currency (NOK) is advantageous for tourists visiting Norway.

We are happy to announce that we have finalized our schedule for PRE GFL 2025, and you can read all about it here.
Gausta Tour option (2026)
For those who were looking forward to the Oslo / Gausta tour, fear not!
We are planning a Sunday – Thursday tour in 2026, featuring highlights of Oslo, three days of skiing, and attractions in Gaustatoppen/Rjukan. Rest assured, we will coordinate with GFL2026 to avoid any scheduling conflicts.
